New Collection Policy and Utility Termination Policy in effect...

We want to make you aware of two new policy changes have been filed of record in Dallas County that will go into effect April 1, 2016.  As you know, the board works very hard keep HOA dues as low as possible.  Our dues must pay for routine items like water, insurance, landscape maintenance, property management and extraordinary expenses like roof repairs, foundation leakage and other capital expenses.  As these are items that we all share, we count on all members to pay their dues in a timely basis in order to keep dues as low as possible.  Unfortunately, not all Association members are diligent in paying their dues on time and that puts unfair strain on all of the other owners who faithfully pay their dues on time each month.

Therefore, we have been placed in the position of creating the enclosed Collection Policy and Utility Termination Policy in an effort to encourage owners to pay their dues on time.  This will help us keep HOA dues as low as we possibly can as we continue to address routine and deferred maintenance on the property.
